I regularly check on new women on here, seems there are scores every day but all with very basic profiles that seem to vanish as quick as they arrive. Are the for real or dummies created by a program to make it look like fab is more popular than it actually is? Discuss in 200 words and hand in to me tomorrow lol

A number of pay sites certainly are in the practice of creating fake profiles or for creating fake messages in order to entice people to subscribe, but because fab operates differently, nobody is required to part with any money in order to use the site and make contact with others, so there's no reason that I can see for fab to do this.

It seems to be a mixture of sad men posing as women or even some women coming on without realising quite what it's all about. Also, msny of them get so inundated with messages they probably get overwhelmed

I truly believe a portion are definitely women.

Once they sign up they're bombarded within minutes from blokes "hunting fresh meat", calling them beautiful even though they've got no pics up or profile text, asking them if they wanna fuck before they've even found their way around the site, they're made to feel like a vagina and no more than that the moment they sign up.

Hundreds upon hundreds of messages within the first few hours and none care about anything other than the fact you've got a minge. That's a pretty demoralising feeling if you're not expecting it. It doesn't make you feel powerful like some fellas accuse the women of ("the power has gone to their head" - you hear it loads from men who aren't getting their expectations met and dicks wet)

You feel like you've been sliced open and fed to circling sharks. That's more than enough to hit the "delete profile" button for a newbie woman who's on ger first fab rodeo and doesn't know what to expect.

I’ve been on / off here a few times. When I set up a new profile I block all messages from everyone and don’t upload a photo … I contact men I’ve chatted to before if I want to message someone … then about a month later I open my profile up to messages but still with strict filters

The inbox is much more manageable that way though I still get some vile messages

e.g. someone I’ve known for years contacted me last night, I fell asleep during the conversation

When I woke up this morning to find that I was called a “fat boring c*nt” because I didn’t reply - not nice calling someone boring - so offensive

Bit daft really cos I have tons of photos from when he was a police sgt - wearing a full police uniform with dick out taken in the police station he worked at

If he calls me boring again I’ll release them to my local police force

Oh I did report the message to Fab and he’s still on the site

Do men who get reported for abuse ever get removed ?

I’ve only been on here for about 3 weeks now and I didn’t want to be one of those guys that just bombarded every single woman with a message to see if I get a reply as I can imagine they get loads every single day. I’ve only had 2 women message me one here and that’s ok with me as I’m not here to sleep with the whole site…not that I would get to any way otherwise I’d have had plenty more messages lol

My profile says don’t ask for a meet as I will ask you if I want to meet

Yet I have the same guys asking if a daily basis, and it doesn’t matter how many times I say no they still keep asking until I get so pissed off that I block them

Firstly the site doesn't use Bots nor have a reason to other dating sites use them to force people so their message is at the top,be notified the message has been read let you message others without matching and so on so the person buys the upgrade. Fab has no reason to act in this way nor would it make sense I have been here several years so have very good experience and understand this site very well.

I think most women are more cautious and dipping into the water at the beginning. Then after being bombarded with 100s of vile messages, they leave without deleting their profile. Luckily I got thick skin and put up with the abusive nasty messages, hoping to find a gem... which over the years, I found one or two

Having a little maturity on my side I have to say that over the years since the Interweb thing and in particular Social Meeja became ubiquitous it has brought with it widespread aggressive, in your face, rudeness that only a perceived anonymity could foster. This coupled with a desire for immediate gratification has led to the sad demise of any form of courtship.

There used to be a joke about Australian foreplay.

"Hey sheila, Fancy a fuck?"

"Yeah, you talked me into you sweet talking bastard"

It seems it lost its book cover and many guys now use it as a social etiquette manual. That is very sad.
