The difference between

TS my take on it is this is a woman in a mans body, they want to be female May have even started hormonal therapy..

CD

Is a guy who gets a kick from cross dressing

TV

Is someone who gets excited by dressing, makeup, shaving, looking and being very feminine, yet retains her male identity

But definitely female in her thoughts

Me I’m somewhere between TV & TS

Totally into cocks

But still like a pussy to, a dominant one though

Possiy you've got three things to consider sex, gender and sexual orientation.

TS - gender is female, sex is male, orientation any

CD - sex male, gender male, likes wearing womens clothes but is male, orientation any

TV - sex male, gender male, has an alter-ego which is female, orientation any

Yes I think you described it pretty well here I’d like to point out also within TS theres pre op and post op. Post op have done the full transition and pre op haven’t yet (some are happy with that some are waiting to have the vagina)

Like I get sometimes told “I love TVs” and I have to correct them by saying I’m actually a pre-op trans girl who’s transitioning and is on HRT.

Also please people don’t use words tranny or lady boy or she-male or whatever. They are offensive!!!

Lady boys are basically trans girl from Thailand (god knows why they named the Thai girls that way? Like who? Why??)

I’d agree with the your description.

I present as a TV on here and when I go out, but most days I’m a crossdresser I wear women’s clothing around the house, just not shaved or looking passable at all. I just enjoy the feel and freedom the clothes give me.

I also think I’m more pansexual rather than bisexual but labels change as you decide they no longer fit you anymore. So if I wore a dress out with a beard and hairy legs I may decide I’m a different label than either CD or TV.

OP, why do you say that you are ‘somewhere between TV & TS’? Do you feel dressing up isn’t enough sometimes and have the urge to become and live as a woman?

Also, may I ask someone to explain what is the difference between any of these and a Tgirl please?

I think Tgirl is used as a collective term.

I class my self as a transvestite, most of the time it's not sexual in nature it's just that I want to feel happy, pretty and also it's a little escapism from a grey world.

But most importantly I'm "me" we are all diffrent and it's sad that women can wear jeans without being labelled but the moment I slip on something comfy I'm categorised xx

Talking of your offensive terms, I used to work with some Koreans and they would refer to SHIM's, which for a long time I thought was an actual Korean word for TV/TS, until it was pointed out to me all that was being said is "she him"

Unless someone is actually changing gender then other than all the legal stuff everything else is no one's business.

I believe it was a case of a derogatory term being taken back by the community in much the same way that the black community in America took ownership of a certain word, at least that's what a friend who worked in the region for a long time explained to me.

Unless obviously if being in a certain catagory is important and part of one's identity then that's one's choice also far be it for me a fat middle aged bald guy to dictate what anyone calls themselves or not.

It can be , but just like that certain other word, there’s many in the community that will only ever see it as derogatory especially after having had many occasions of it being used in a pejorative sense towards them. Be very careful with its use if you ever do use it is all I’d say.

They only other thing I’d add to these list of terms is not to forget those people who might identify as “non-op TS” . Many people who do feel gender dysphoria may not be medical able (or willing) to go through intense and invasive medical procedures and will be happy to live in their adoptive genders without further intervention. Just one to remember
