Problems Flirting

Is it down to being afraid to try, not being able to know how or just down to not being good at it?

For me, it's all the above as I have no idea how and am afraid to try.

Who else has problems when it comes to flirting?

I think get a conversation going that there’s mutual interest ….. it’s a good start talk about your self and ask open questions so you can’t get a yes or no answer xxxx

I'm the opposite, I never progress it and it doesn't go anywhere. I'm terrible at making that step from normal chatting to anything 'more'

It doesn't help that I seem totally oblivious to any signs of interest

I'm the same. I have Asperger's which makes it difficult for me to read social cues.

Oh man. This is me to a T. I never know what to say to go from that friendly stage to where's the bedroom. Many of my mates in the past have called me an idiot after a night out at afters cause apparently I had 3 or 4 girls in the palm of my hand and I was oblivious to it. A girl I knew once said I am naturally flirty and I had no idea

At work when talking to customers and suppliers, I get told by my colleagues that I'm a huge flirt - except I have no idea I'm doing it . To my mind I am just being friendly

I'm the same. Conversations I can do fine but flirting is still a mystery to me. I wouldn't even be able to know if I'm being flirty or not.

For example, if I was to say to you "Nice googly eyes" (hence your profile pic), would you see that as a flirt or a compliment?

A compliment, rather than flirting. Really though you're not asking a normal person since I find it all but impossible to recognise when someone is flirting at me!

I find flirting cringeworthy, when you listen to some people in clubs talking shite it makes my toes curl.
