I normally don’t use make up and don’t spend a lot of time on myself but yesterday I made a special effort for my son’s wedding. I had my hair and make up done. I thought I’d feel out of my comfort zone but I actually felt like a million dollars. So maybe I need to make more of an effort for me from now on but I will definitely need some lessons or guidance so any suggestions please lovely ladies?

Awww I’m so glad you did feel like a million dollar, I think make up can be fun and it does make people look so good and glam!

I’m all for it

I’d say, I’ve learnt a lot from YouTube vids and just trying trying trying. I can do an amazing eye wing and I always use to mess that up at the beginning so you just need practise x

Have fun xxx

It's definitely worth spending time on yourself, however that time is spent.

I can't give you make up advice because I'm not very good at it myself. I do hope you enjoy your me time though and make it a habit

Glad you enjoyed getting dressed up and made up.

I don't wear make-up on a day to day basis but love to make the effort when I go out.

I agree that YouTube is great for tutorials.

I would also reccomended investing in good quality makeup. It goes on and stays on much better.

Look out for deals and mixed pallets.

Go to Boots and get a skin shade test so you buy the right shade of foundation.
