"Acupuncture? Someone near to you... One of my joint's flares up from time to time & the pain goes off the chart. Pain killers from doc's does not work. I found this to be quite good. It just depends what your money sitruation is as it ain't cheap! Tai Chi or Qigong? Look at YouTube.. The Pain Team have said, through my GP, they'd look at Acupuncture. Great! But there is a 3 month waiting list. My GP won't consider referring me anywhere else as he is part of a Corporate Group which has taken over around 18 surgeries in town. Their Group HQ also run the Pain Management team! The remaining Surgeries are run, so I've heard by a rival Corporate Health Group! I'll look at the options you suggested.

"CBD oil, if you'd be happy to try that. Just needs to be taken a few hours either side of any other medications. Also you might benefit from supplements like B12, magnesium and Vit D." My last GP in Warwick, (I left there last Nov after redundancy, and moved home to Hull) placed me on B12. It helped in some ways, but I was finishing late last year, a Knee Pain Relief Drug Trial by a US company with the intention of later this year giving results of the trial. For 14 months, I was totally pain free. Since stopping that, I'm back to square one.

"You could try using flexiseq cream. I’ve found it useful for joint pain and mobility as a short term relief. " Tried it, but it was absolutely useless for me.

"Accupuncture helps" I know, but as I've mentioned above, the NHS Pain Team's waiting list is 3 months away but I'll see if anyone else does it privately. Problem is, I'm on State Pension, so costs may be a problem.

"Saw a program on this that said its caused by youre own imune system going into overdrive .it said that when a woman gets pregnant and the imune system drops the arthritis stops untill after the birth.i am not an expert but know transplant patients have injections to keep imune system low and not reject foreign organs.ask youre doc if you can have the imuno supresent injections" Thanks. One more thing to ask him, when I get his teleconsulting call in SIX weeks. Then he'll sort out the time to go and see him, about another 2 weeks beyond that!
