The feeling i get is quite a lot of users on here like a bit of adult fun in hotels and i hear the Hilton is one of the best but how does it work all this hotel stuff, what i mean is doesn't it look funny at reception when say 2 couples get a double room ? if anyone can explain it to me how the best way to enjoy a hotel meet should go that would be great.Oh and which Hotels do people like best ??

I've never had a bad experience in a Premier Inn (whichever way you want to read that).

hapton by hilton in Derby - perfect! you can use the lift to get to the rooms without passing reception. The same for the premier inn in Hull.

usually hotels dont care if you take ppl in - we usually walk straight pass reception if we bring someone it

Im sure all the major chain hotels know what goes on.

Before I was with Jo properly, I used to use the Premier Inn in Livingston a lot (before I lived in Scotland).

The receptionist that seemed to be on most times I was there got to recognise me… and she saw me in and out of there with three ladies over the course of a couple of months. She never batted an eyelid.

I remember meeting a lady back in Leicesiter area…. we had planned on finding a country lane but couldnt find anywhere, so just walked into a Travel Inn as they were called then and booked a room. Three hours later we checked out… no baggage, paid by cash….

If its a foursome meet, maybe the one of each couple go to reception and check in and the other two just walk by them and head upstairs as if they had already checked in earlier.

Steve

we stick to premier inn, travel lodge or ibis and all chains dont mind how many people are in a room .. no head counting going on so makes life alot easier. I would not use any other hotels for this reason

premier inn or ibis. Have to say i prefer ibis but costwise are pretty similar. Never had a problem and had ten people in a room once. As long as you don't disturb anyone anything goes i think.

Premier Inn have a peace of mind guarantee - so your room neighbours would get a free night should they get disturbed.

Hull

As a hotel manager with many years experience, times have changed and these days, it generally tends to be as long as any group of people don't upset or cause offence to other guests, then in most cases, most hotels aren't even aware if any "activity" is going on!

At the hotel I work at, we are well aware of one gent who books a room for a few hours, so he can "entertain" his regular lady acquaintance. But he is discreet and causes no offence!

"village hotels are good value .. we find."

i use the village hotel in dudley a lot as its very close to me and good for its money as im a member of the gym so get 40% off room prices

ive never had problems going in as i dont meet couples so just going in with a single guy dont look funny, i did however get the women on reception once ask me if i was a escort because she had seen me go in with a few different men

My favourite hotel of all time - and I've stayed in plenty in many different places through work over the years - is one of the NH hotels in Amsterdam. Had an absolute blast when I was there... have been meaning to go back.

For meets, however, I'm not fussy. Village or Jury's are fine.

Never stayed at a Premier Inn - I'd be worried that Lenny fucking Henry would be there filming yet more of those cringeworthy, god-awful TV adverts.

Don't see the point of spending hundreds or thousands on a hotel room/suite.

However, one of my fantasies involves walking into a marbled hotel lobby ...

My House

Hilton Hotel Best Hotel.

We use the Hilton at Heathrow (its quite new) and its totally divine. We also the Travelodge atHeathrow (its horrible but easily affordable). Our choice of hotel depends on when we got paid. If its just after payday then its a Hilton, towards the end of the month its a Travelodge. Our experience is that reception really dont give a monkeys about who you take back to your room with you, as we will prove tonight after visiting Abfabs

I think it depends on the hotel, tbh. Some of the more up market hotels do offer a very good service and you can see why they charge a premium.

For example, I absolutely love staying at the Hotel Millennium on Boulevard Haussmann in Paris. Everything about the place is faultless. I've also stayed at the Hotel Ambassador which is virtually next door and comparably priced to the Millennium yet isn't a patch on it in terms of comfort, features, etc...

Next week I'm at one of the Hilton's in London - what a waste of money those are. I'd rather stay at a B&B!

Of course when I'm paying for it myself then it's a different matter - hence my comment about using Jury's for a meet or a Village Hotel.

Yep, fair comment.

Annoyingly I can get away with charging for a nice hotel yet can't get away with charging for a nice restaurant. My daily allowance will just about stretch to a Bargain Bucket at KFC

Central

Covered elsewhere, but hotels where the lifts etc are controlled with key/card access are a real pain. Travelodges are some of the worst for this in city centres.

My choice depends on whether it's a fuck check-in, or whether I'm staying overnight, so sleep quality and amenities and locality are then more important too.

When I can stretch to it, then it's 5 stars, as I usually feel more comfortable in them, such as Intercontinentals.
