If you're worried, see a doctor.

Go and see a doctor and insist on a proper scan. In most cases it is harmless but it is better to get it checked as soon as possible.

As people have said don’t wait about get it looked straight away it’s probably nothing but I had something similar in my early 20s I was scared and my girlfriend at the time literally marched me to the doctor it turned out to be nothing I was so relieved hope it turns out ok op

Just to be on the safe side get yourself checked out. When I was 18, had what I thought what was a cist under my arm which was large and painful. Had it checked out. Turned out it was cancerous. I was diagnosed with non hodkins. Catching this early and having years of cancer treatment saved my life.

I thought I had a lump under my testicle as I was growing up around 14, I was scared as hell, yet to embarrassed to get it checked out till I was 15. I had a nurse and two trainee nurses poking and proding taking notes of my genitalia and applying ultrasound jell to them. It turned out everything was fine it was just a specific part we all have where seaman is produced.

The moral of the story though is like the nurse told me, you can't die of embarrassment but you can from lumps so get it checked.

Thanks all.

I know I need to get it checked. Hadn't noticed it before today. Its actually the area above my penis (lower abdomen area) that looks abnormal.

Please ring your GP & don't be fobbed off.

I'm sure it'll be fine, but do check x

Please go to see a doctor asap.

If it is nothing...the doctor will confirm this.

If it is something then it can be dealt with.

Please don't wait.....that is the worst thing that you can do.

Get a referral , you may need to see a gp first (if you use Nhs) , or just self refer if worried , pay £100 and see a consultant today. How does it feel soft like othe other one Or harder ?

Unfortunately a gp can’t confirm this they can only refer

It's not painful os sore. It's quite soft. but significantly bigger than the other side.

Have to call GP surgery at 8am in the morning to try and get a phone appointment tomorrow

One nut is a little bigger than the other.just like one breast is.

It's lumps you need to feel for pea size or bigger need the tubes more than the ball it self. Ones on the ball are usually cysts.

But always get a second opinion and a referral to the ultrasound that is the only way they know for definite.

Had a video appointment today using the Babylon app (Awesome FYI) and it would appear to most likely be a hernia. No need to panic. THANKS ALL FOR YOUR COMMENTS X

Be careful if you have a hernia and have a manual job, or lift weights, or are doing any heavy duty work/DIY at home etc. You should minimise the strain on the area to prevent it getting worse.
