It was loud n round, like a Toffifee with wings and a trumpet " They fly slowly (it’s a seeming miracle that they can fly at all) and indeed make quite a noise (I mean, a REAL noise!) You’ll only usually see them after sunset though, between May and July and like moths, they are attracted to light (hence why they often can be heard crashing against lit windows this time of year) They’re completely harmless however - just very clumsy | |||
