only last year started to have a glass or two only a half's cant see how some men drink pints and pints i would be on loo all night two halfs i am. lol.. But was given a pint Glass at a lovely old pub on the river and had saying allover it . Beer is proof God loves us and wants us to be happy .. A little bit of beer is divine medicine . A fine beer may be judged with only one ship, but its better to be thoroughly sure. On victory, you deserve beer, in defeat, you need it. Fermenttation may have been a greater discovery then fire.

Wisdom always comes to you when you're pished!

If you like the real ale go to the beer festival at St Andrews hall in October. Loads of lovely wisdom waiting to be tasted!

little house on the praire

Remember, beer was the thing to drink. They even gave it to children. It was seen as better for them than the water which was contaminated. Bet everyone had a smile on their faces in those days

Worked there for many years myself. Of course in Germany basically every city had a brewery so always a big choice. US beers are if course German type beers but don't tell them!

I prefer beer (real ale) to wine, got the taste for it when I was taken to a beer festival by my then boyfriend.

When I go to pub on an ordinary night out, I still drink a pint or two before moving onto whisky and lemonade.

And I love the local brew.

good quality ale is truly a thing to be savoured..

none of this 'smooth flow', 'extra cold' mass produced rubbish..

Used to drink beer a lot when I was younger but nowadays just a couple of pints makes me sick and gives me a thumping headache

Thank God for Jack Daniel's
