With so many messenger services out there WhatsApp, Kik. Signal. Snapchat, etc which do you guys think is the best and why?

I've only used WhatsApp and viber and I tried Kik. Thus far WhatsApp is the one for me personally. Because just about everyone I know from family, friends, work colleagues and everyone I've met in Europe use it, it's free(I hope so because it's not asked for my bank details), you can send large pictures and videos, speak via video and Internet phone. Apparently in Asia they use viber.

Same as this really.

Kik I understand if you don't want to give out your number but don't see why you'd wan to talk to someone, in that way, if you don't want them having your number (unless hiding something).

Security wise they're probably all about the same.

Kik for use without sharing my mobile number

WhatsApp for people I'm closer to or want to speak to on the phone/video

Whatsapp for people who are close, so it’s 90% friends and family and given to some of my regulars too x

We use telegram for FAB.

Whatsapp for friends and family.

We keep them separate so we know we aren’t going to get people confused.

Telegram is no number given and is a lot better than kik.

Very few people get my number so Whattsapp is for family and friends

Kik seems to make my phone crash so try not to use as much now

Telegram is my most used chat app

I like WhatsApp. Can always block if things go wrong with anyone, so giving out my number isn't an issue.
