If they knew it was for no other reason than as friends I would. I wouldn’t string someone along thinking they would get a physical meet out of it

Yes definitely. I like meeting people because I find them fascinating and I've made some brilliant friends on here. I think as long as you're all on the same page it's great to meet people from here and have open conversations.

I've had a few meets that were set out as platonic.

I hopefully have a few to come this year too.

Surely a social is just a social?

Maybe, if he totally understood nothing was gonna happen sexually...

I have some platonic online `friends`

Some peeps do look different in person & for some they look different in a very positive way...sometimes we just don't know if there is chemistry until that intial face to face meet

Yes for a social, no for a playmate. Attraction is an important part for anything more

Yes but being 100% certain they knew it was just a social and would go no further.

Yes

Fantastic waste of weeks of filthy messages to meet and instantly be bored

Good topic ...

A shame the fates didn’t roll .. but worth a try

In it to win it ?

I would and I did , few of them turned out to be my best meets at all times. But I tend to get attracted personalities as well so more I like their attitude, more I find them sexy and seductive

Depends on whether they accept it's purely a platonic social or if they keep pushing for "social and then maybe..."

If I think they'll push me to change my mind then no, I wouldn't put either of us into a situation so awkward.

Otherwise absolutely, I'm a social creature at heart so always happy to meet people I chat with.

"But I tend to get attracted personalities as well so more I like their attitude, more I find them sexy and seductive "

Same ^^ If I found their personality attractive then I would be attracted to them.

If I didn't find their personality attractive then we probably wouldn't be having a conversation anyway.

And I have in the past been turned on by and had sex with people I didn't find physically attractive to start with.

Yes, because how someone looks on photos (generally filtered) doesn’t necessarily bear resemblance to what they look like in the flesh.

Plus .. chemistry is everything

If we have good conversations, then I’m attracted to her.

Meeting would be greatly pleasurable but by the time we meet, it’ll be obvious that we are friends without the need for it to be physical.

Definitely, but as others have said I make it clear it's platonic so there's no awkwardness. I love talking to people who are open minded and have similar relationships to mine.

Absolutely. Attraction takes many forms, and that of a mind and a personality often creates a bigger spark for me than I’d ever get seeing a few carefully selected photos. Besides, meeting people is fun and you just never know where a friendship might develop from.

Yes maybe as long as the expectations were clearly set out.

A couple of people i have thought i fancied but there was zero chemistry at the meet. Rather awkward when it's not mutual.
