I work on new build housing, anyone else noticed that work is drying up rapidly, we can't get materials, timber, bricks, roof tiles, plastics, plumbing materials, I've heard that HS2 have been buying up all the sand and cement from around the country, any thoughts?

Timber prices have have gone sky high in the last 6 months. Work for a furniture manufacturer and it's hitting us hard.
