That’s interesting. Why wouldn’t you date an OF girl, but would happily meet someone off a sex site? A number of girls I’ve seen on here, also have OF accounts, but they don’t advertise that fact on here. I, personally don’t, but a number of my friends do, hence I recognise mutual friends etc xx

Nothing really Goth about it these days. amateur model types, Cosplaying Goth and the place Northerners go for Halloween to dress up and be gawped at by coachloads of OAP's.

10, 20-25 years ago it was fantastic but most of the old crowd go to Germany now. Another event ruined thanks to Joe Public.

Being a metal head in a small town we were classed as goths by the local neds and chavs. Many a night was spent being ridiculed and fighting with these clowns. Glad thats kind of past nowadays. Well I guess/hope it is

Yes totally agree. Normals are mostly wankers. It's actually harder to tell who is generally alternative and weird to someone who is a normal person with tattoos and coloured hair because it's popular. 15 years ago, you saw a girl with tattoos, bright red hair, she was alternative, now not so much the case.

Today it's Cosplay. Younger generation mostly don't get it. Best times were late 90s and early 2000s. Still a bit distasteful we are still leered at by normals as some dark fantasy.

I was a punk and knew goths in the eighties mainly. Agree about the cosplay element.

Normals tend to be wankers and not the sort you should bother with.

Well I completely agree with media being wankers to the point I just don’t watch any of it anyone. I wish more people didn’t.

A good friend of mine was friends with poor Sophie Lancaster and had to go through hell with these Chavs in Manchester but I’ve a feeling they were just scum and media had nothing to do with that

Have not watched normal TV in 20 years. It's all narcassism reality for stupid morons or utter ballocks. Thank god for Disney Plus and Netflix.

Yes, they were just subspecies. They would attack anything different then themselves and if nothing else was about, would then turn on each other eventually.

Met her mother a year after at Whitby Goth Weekend (when it was an actual Goth Festival, unlike the pantamine it's become).

Unfortunately I think I would look like a normie at a goth weekend I’ve conformed a little too much over the years but still a metalhead

Have 11 piercings and a tattoo or two.

Im a weird mish mash of vintage/ alternative but it works

Being Goth is more then just wearing black a few times a week. It's the attitude, music taste and lifestyle as well. Also 'Alternative' could mean a wide range of things.
