Glasgowish

I have worked full time nightshift for 24 years. Must admit it is getting harder with age. I need to keep active to stay awake so always find something to keep me busy.

Horsham

I used to get a good book to read.

It all depends on the job.

I did nights at Gatwick, as an aircraft handler. We did our job, then slept till the end of our shift. The morning shift covered the work from 5am.

I work permanent night shifts (healthcare) Did ten years when the children were little and have recently returned to them after 15 years of days.

So much harder this time around

Between 3-4am my eyes feel like they’re cracking. I survive on caffeine.

Sympathies OP!
