I was going to have a pop at the request for an "engineer" for a printer, but then you said it was a 7k pro jobbie, so maybe an engineer is what you actually need!

Best start with a repairman and when he can't fix it, call an engineer!

We know we need an Epson registered engineer as it's not a straight forward job. You never know who is on here and thought it was worth a punt
