The land of grey peas and bacon

I have a real passion for Italin food.. Though being on a diet I have had to think of creative ways to cook it without consuming 50,000 calories...

There is a book called 'The Silver Spoon', it's the Italian cooking bible and has hundreds of recipes.

really like it,so much so went to sicily last year and it was great. They had large supermarkets with one whole isle full top to bottom with pasta never seen so much available anywhere.I like Sicillian wine,fruit and birds too

where abouts ? i have been to pescara and across to roma and drove across the middle of italy,did the same driving around sicily and went to mt. etna and saw it chuffing a few days after it erupted.

Italian icecreams are definitely the best though, IMHO.

Don't they do a special ice cream its not as solid as Ice cream.. I was watching Man v Food and it was on there...
