So many gym posts...(so I'm adding to it).....Am I the only one who's never step foot in a gym?

I should, I wish I had the desire & motivation, instead when I get a spare hour off from work/mummy duties/house work all I wanna do is relax with a glass of wine and a cheese board.

I'm weak, I'm fat and I'm lazy... physical exercise hurts

I used to go, but never liked it. I prefer team sports, but am now too knackered physically to do anything other than walk.

Means I shall be drinking beer and eating delicious food instead!

I have been to a gym. I have even worked out in a gym. I have even walked out of a gym after working out and smoked a cigarette.

I just find it boring doing exercise for the sake of it.

I might feel different if I had a home gym so I don't have to people, get ready, travel there, shower, re-dress, travel home, and not die in the process. All seems to much hard work

The Town by The Cross

I don't use a gym.

I won't use a gym.

Exercise existed before gyms. I think younger folk don't realise that.

I'd only use a gym if I needed to do prolonged weights or use some specific machine for medical reasons cos I don't want to buy all that stuff.

Other than that I do see gyms as unnecessary ..... convenient but unnecessary.

Unless you are into competition of some kind. Gyms are just money makers for the owners.

Or some people just prefer going to the gym over exercising outside

I'd spend every day at the gym....

Not only to help manage my type 1 diabetes....

But It makes me feel good, Things less stressful. And it stops my body from wasting away into just fat rather than muscle.

If you could utilise each machine for each muscle your defining and maintaining your body. Prolonging your life and keeping youthful looks for longer.... Unpopular opinion in here

Skipped it today and did a five mile walk instead. Much more satisfying after having trained twice this week....

Nope. I walk, run , swim, Qi Gong, Latin Dance.....

When I take up body building ( fat chance ) I might go to the gym.
