"Seen loads of threads about going to gym,so what do you do there? I'll be honest and say...when I went to the gym my routine was.. 30mins on treadmill 20mins on bike Some weights Lol Post what you do and maybe it will inspire people x" Walk around a lot purposefully searching for the inspiration , realise its going to take a huge effort to turn back time to when I had a waistline, retire to the steam room, shower and a few pints whilst reminiscing about when I once could do chin ups. | |||

"I find doing 4 sets of weight/ resistance training a week works for me, split in upper then lower body. Does anybody else find that they need a break in between the days - for example if I do Monday and Tuesday, I need Wednesday off from weights before starting again Thursday. Am I a whimp? " Nope, not at all. Rest days are really important for muscle recovery and if it helps you against fatigue, then you should keep taking those rest days | |||
