Good morning forumites, Gatsby has a little challenge that may just make a big difference to someones day.

Today id like you to share those positive vibes lets turn those negatives into positives.

I hear too often people saying negative things about others be it about the way they look, the car they drive, or even clothes someone chooses to wear.

So i challenge each and everyone of you get out there in the real world today, and pay someone a compliment. Tell someone theyre pretty, tell someone they have a lovely smile, compliment someone on their car or clothes, even if its just one person today pay someone out there a compliment and make them smile

I’m usually like this, so to make a change, do I have to be mean to people all day?

Google “inbetweeners, bus wanker.”

It may make you chuckle, then again, it may not.

It appears so, forsooth. However, I have many questions pertaining your dislike of said footwear that I cannot allow to go unanswered.

What of the people who wear them? What be the stigma associated with these brands? Is it likewise with Nike and Adidas?

Ah…that’s where I go completely awry. I am very lazy about searching on a said subject that someone has mentioned. I’d rather it be explained to me them from their perspective. It makes for better conversation and I’m just old fashioned that way.

Now now, bringing up past thread responses is beneath you, don’t be that person!

In a ball gown because that's how we roll in N. Devon

Aww G.... that's lovely!

I do have one minor issue though.... this real world you speak of. I don't like it. Can't I stay here and just ring someone to brighten their day?

And now I'm overthinking it. Will talking to me actually brighten their day? Will they see my name pop up on their phone and roll their eyes? Oh god.... is it actually that much of a chore to speak to me?

Erp. I'll smile at the postman instead. He has to pretend to be glad of it.

I've probably paid 3 compliments today. Maybe more. It comes easy to be someone's reason to smile.

And here is a compliment- beautiful uplifting thread.
