I see all ages going out in their pyjamas shopping. Tbh it's kinda lazy unless they just got out of hospital there's no excuse.

I used to go to work (in a pub) in my cute blue +white striped pjs occasionally. .. I didn't really think about it at the time, i just thought they looked good.. I was late teens /early 20s. Nothing was ever said

Paradise, Herts

I don’t like it but I guess it’s not illegal!

I work constant night shifts so my mornings are really lunch times by the time I wake up. Sometimes I’ll go to greggs or to the shop in my pjs and I don’t really care. Thing is I wear nothing to bed so have to actually put pjs on to go out. Helps that all my pjs look like loungewear anyway, shorts and vest or cuffed bottoms that look like joggers.

Pyjama wearing is not something I judge other people for.

Missin’ Yo’ Kissin’

Does it matter if they are not hurting anyone?

I have more important things to worry about in my life than that....

Anyway, it's quite commonplace to see this in Japan!

East London

It's just pyjamas.

I don't know why people get so worked up about what other people wear.

My old neighbour used to pop to the shop in her nightdress, cardi and slippers.

I worked in Shanghai for about 6 months. I was told that some Shaghainese do this. I thought it was a joke but it’s true, they have pyjama fashion!!

That was over 20 years ago. Not sure if they still do it. The place was in the grips of massive and sudden growth and modernising at the time. Perhaps the habit has died out.
