Some ladies use some kind of app to change their actual face on their photos, which is fairly clear to see. What is the point? Is it not better to just not show the face or apply another filter?

I think deep fake is something else, like that TikTok channel that had Tom Cruise doing stuff.

Photo manipulation is something else - and of course there are degrees of it.

The point is that they’re insecure due to society/the media pushing their beauty ideals onto women constantly, leading them to feel like they’re not good enough and won’t be accepted if they don’t meet certain standards. Hope that helps.
