In flight. A magnificent sight of such a vivid blue. Saw one yesterday evening, first one I’ve seen for a few years and only the fourth different place that I’ve ever seen them. Very exciting!

Not really a topic for a swingers site as no kinky fuckery or titillation involved but probably better than the usual rubbish I post.

I follow a Facebook page which posts photos of the kingfisher, usually mid dive into water, it’s stunning. Such a beautiful bird.

Mold

According to QI they're not blue, but brown, and iridescence causes an optical illusion

I’ve never seen one dive but for a number of years they were seen in the moat across from my house so would often spot them when out dog walking. I’m going to search on YouTube.

Sounds grand but it went around a big house that’s now divided into apartments. It was sometimes fed by a local stream to flood then power a mill. Gave me a problem to get insurance when I moved there as they claimed a local water course was higher than the property. Managed to find the company that had previously insured it so was able to get the mortgage.

I can see you in a 'Catch The Pigeon' style race to get the kingfisher.
