I've never understood people who drink hot drinks like coffee and tea on hot summer days. And I just drink milk, fruit juice or water but at the end of the day I will have a cold beer.

Meant to cool you down as it raises your body temperature so you sweat more then that evaporates.

Cold drinks cool you down at first but your body has to work hard to get it to body temp.

A nice cuppa whatever the weather is great!

I’m a proper tea belly at the moment so I’ll happily have tea whatever the weather

"You could always have iced tea or iced coffee."

To be honest I'm not a coffee or tea person. I'm actually on holiday in Greece now and it's amazing how everyone seems to drink coffee. And it's so hot here.

Yes this was what our school teacher told us many years ago, but I never accepted this theory.

It’s because you’re not a tea/coffee person in general.

I can drink tea in any weather.

Well as long as there's sound scientific logic behind your non acceptance ...
