It's always been really vanilla with my husband. He joined me swinging years ago and didn't enjoy it, every argument he threw it back in my face, sometimes being not very nice.

He left me to it and I've played on my own for years, he has always had a very low sex drive and mine is very high. He also doesn't have any kinks or anything.

But lately he is starting to flirt around the idea of swinging again and I just can't get how he was about it initially out of my head and I'm wary. Also I see him as just vanilla now, so much so that if he tries to be a bit dom I cringe a bit

Any body got any advice on what to do? I want him to be happy and comfortable if we do explore again, where would you start? I just can't get this whole new persona he is giving off

People change over time. Some a little, some a lot. Talking it through to understand what’s behind the changes probably the best option. Hope it all works out and you can have some amazing fun together x

As clichéd as it may sound; 'Communication is key'. You both need to be on the same page and reading between the lines, I'm not convinced you even want to be? You guys have a challenging dynamic to begin with, but to steal the Welsh footy slogan; 'together stronger', you'll find the path that you both can tread.

It's always challenging with completely opposite sex drives. I am not wholly convinced I want to be yet myself, I'm hoping I can be convinced though

So wish an old friend was still on here, she was in a very similar relationship.

She dropped our D/s relationship for the change, massive shock to me.
