So was speaking to a friend about childhood toys and barbies were mentioned, did u have them and if so, which ones were your faves?

If not, what toys were u into?

I was obsessed with barbies and used to whip my dad to get me loads, my favourite was the Barbie bay watch version, and the ice skater with the turquoise dress, and also one that you submerged in water and the bathing suit would appear ha

I remember one of them had all the fit bfs (Ken+ And my brother’s G.I.Joe and action men) for herself…

Such good childhood memories!!

My sister used to take my action men and I’d find them naked in bed (or sometimes in the wardrobe) with her Barbies.

I didn’t have barbies but action man instead. My Nan bought me a couple of Sindys once, let’s say they joined the action man war… missing limbs, shaved head for one

A mate of mine had Action Men, and his mum actually hand sewed underpants, and glued them on them. However boys being boys, we had too carefully peel one set off, and we made the remarkable discovery that Action Man hasn't got a Willy, so how they can call him Action Man is beyond me.

I never had dolls, but remember spending hours playing with hairstyles on my cousins Girls World

I don't think anyone batted an eyelid, as long as we were occupied / quiet
