So had my dentist appointment this morning, my parents used to send me monthly for years as a kid/teen and was always very apprehensive every time I had to go. My dentist as a child was a savage….

Anyway, my main reason why I loathe going is because I always get scolded and leave feeling bad cos I haven’t flossed enough. Today I was told… “if you don’t step up your flossing game you are gonna lose ur teeth eventually”

Urghhhh every time!

So how do you feel about going to the dentist? And what’s your reason for loathing the dentist?

I have always had a genuine fear so I've only gone a handful of times in my whole life. I broke a tooth and only went because I nearly overdosed from the painkillers and was in so much pain. Still had to pay 300 pound to be put to sleep whilst it was sorted, it's a horrible place when your mind wobbles.

I had to have check ups and had braces for ages so they were tightening and tweaking. My parents must have spent around 10-12K for my teeth all those years..
