Heating

Now before I say anything else, let me say that I very rarely - if ever - feel cold.

However the weather today - 11-12 degrees, damp and rainy - forced me to concede and I had to put the hot water heating on. It’s mid June. “Summer” solstice. And I’ve put the heating on.

To cheer myself up, I danced around the house singing along to Glenn Frey’s “the heat is on” - but obviously changed the words a little.

In other good news, the nights start drawing in from today

Hampshire/Dorset

I'm refusing to put mine on.

I did on Saturday, after getting in from a chilly social.

I did dry the washing in the tumble dryer though.

Our heating comes on automatically if the house temp goes below a certain temp. So the last few days it has come on several times.

To be fair, I do flounce around in just a pair of shorts for most of the day ! I could always try socks and a Jummy, but I refuse to layer up whole indoors, dammit!

Chams or Socials

Ours is off from 1 April until at least October half term. I don’t feel the cold anymore so everyone else has to suffer!!
