"I have the Snowdon marathon to look forward to, its in October and my training plan starts next month. My mind is already preparing as in I need to select the right training plan to suit me and the type of event I will be running. I enjoy having a training plan, I like the mental commitment to something. This will take over most of my mindset for the next few months, I will live & breath preparing myself physically, mentally and emotionally. I will be fearful of injuries and careful of additional activities. I will very much enjoy the entire journey towards the event, by looking at my diet, losing some lbs, and then seeing the benefits physically over the weeks will boost me. I will want to run the route as 2 half marathons for training runs, I have already done the first half of the route on a previous visit to North Wales. So these trips will give me something to look forward to also. Even planning the kit, my playlist for training and thinking through my timings at different stages of the event is exciting to me. Then I will look forward to the day, I will be keen to see my support team of friends and my kids dotted throughout the course and ultimately to see my boyfriend at the finish line after he too has completed his run ahead of me and see his happy face as I crawl or limp over the finish line. Yes... this event is something I am really looking forward to achieving

"We have a few family events coming up which I'm looking forward to. It's been so long. We have not got any set plans for this year as such (apart from the MLS) because of the lurgy. But we are making memories every day and that in itself is a blessing.
Counting our blessings daily is the way forward. For me anyway.
