Mine is the sea and golden beaches. Love to find somewhere in the UK that has a log cabin hot tub overlooking the beach bliss. But just one last thing I'd want to be able to walk from my lodge to the sea naked

Somewhere with history situated in a sublime landscape. Somewhere two of you can do a bit of flânerie and sit in cafes people watching/reading or ramble around in nature. And weather. Has to have decent different types of weather.

Sounds nice, but I'd much prefer the lush greens of a secluded woodland retreat.

Especially if its near a steam or lake that I can go paddling in to cool off on a hot summer day.

Definitely a "cabin in the woods" type. No WiFi, no phones. Just... peace. A hot tub maybe.

The more secluded the better - can enjoy some primal fun without the worry of people.

I used to house sit a big old house deep into the woods in the days before wi fi. Pretty terrifying after dark with all those doors and windows to frame werewolves and murderers looking back at me

This isn't sounding so perfect anymore!

Maybe an isolated cabin in the woods, surrounded by a 10ft parameter fence and motion detection floodlights.

Thats better. Just have to worry about the ghosts and loft dwellers now you've fenced yourself in with

Up a suitable corner so as not to be disturbed by people, whilst still being able to watch and nosy

I'm not... as long as I've got someone to cuddle up tight with.

Mine is not a quiet as most. It is on a motorbike, out in the countryside. Hearing the exhaust note bounce back from the roadside, enjoying the roads where ever I am.

I used to love that. The feeling of freedom and the raw power was brilliant.

Quit riding after having kids though. The roads just seem too dangerous now, and I couldn't justify putting my kids at risk of losing their father.

I do miss it though.

Bedford

A firing range. Let off steam shooting weapons, blowing up things, throwing sticks of dynamite lit from a cigar about.

Driving tanks and jeeps pretending to be in WWII.
