Has anyone read the post on FB

Flat earth society is now spread all over the Globe……

But seriously, some of their hypothesis are almost credible.

Earth is apparently 3963 miles in radius at the equator.

Thus you must go to 35000 feet to be able to see it..

Yet if you use a normal camera the horizon is flat only by using fish eyed lens f D ones it appear spheroid?

Anyone want to comment further to intrigue us?

They explain gravity by saying that the flat earth is accelerating upwards at a constant speed of 1g. They don’t explain, as far as I’m aware, why every other planet and the sun etc is round but the Earth isn’t. Which is nice.

Iirc its something to do with the global elite stopping people from reaching the edge for reasons...... Was never to clear why they would stop you if it were true. Remember watching a real wackadoo say there's other' earths' next to ours. So like a series of icelocked worlds side by side.

I’d like to know why in an eclipse we make a crescent shadow? If we were flat wouldn’t we just cast a straight flat shadow, and yes why are all the other planets and moons round and the Earth isn’t, and why hasn’t anyone found the edge or the ice wall in all the millennia that the Earth has been inhabited ?

if by informative you mean, shows just how insane some people can be, then yes!! Many highlights, but the best is the guy who conducts an experiment to prove the earths flatness that ends up confirming the opposite, just says it was a shit experiment!

My understanding of flat earthers is it’s more about challenging the premise of dogma. Let’s face it most of us would say we believe what we believe because of science but we haven’t seen the experiments or validated them , most people wouldn’t know a scientific theory from a fact ….. we simply believe what we are told to believe by experts, science is no different from religion

Yes, except that the vast majority of science can be explain and proven to you if you care to sit and pay attention. Every part of it can be traced and linked to over parts of science.

Religion is nothing more than sit down, shut up and listen to what I have to say. It can't be explained or proven. "why did this happen?" "because it's part of God's plan" what the fuck kind of explanation is that?

The best advice I can give to a flat earther is to NEVER get on a flight that I've put a flight plan together for. My routes and enroute fuel burn calculations are based on the Earth being a big, round, ball type of thingy. If it's more akin to a massive dinner plate though, my time and distance numbers are going to be way out. You'll run out of fuel, you'll crash, you'll burn and you'll die.

Unless there is some secret global...sorry, flat plain...network of flat earth flight planners out there, secretly switching flight plans before the pilots get their hands on them, anyone planning on flying off on their summer holidays any time soon is fucked.

Our minds can't really comprehend the different perspectives of millions or hundreds of millions of miles, the curvature of the earth and atmosphere etc, which is why we can use accurate measuring devices and techniques.

We can measure the ever-changing number of millimetres between ourselves and the moon, based on light reflection times from mirrors that we left there.

The flat earth lot don't really want to focus on the huge scientific evidence that clarifies the non-flat physicality of earth

The big question to ask is why all the governments and space agencies would get together and spend millions, in fact billions, over decades and decades to convince us all the earth is spherical?

Who would benefit from it being spherical so much that they would need to convince us it’s not flat?

Why would all those people be desperate for us to not find out it’s flat?

I think therefore it’s round ??
