It’s happened but it’s not commonplace, it’s not meant necessarily to be a site to find a life partner so I’d approach it in that context and if it happens, well it’s a bonus.

For most it’s simply a fuck site.

Of course there is! Meaningful relationships are all about a meeting of minds, as well as a physical attraction. The odds are probably more in favour of finding someone, with whom you are on the same wavelength, on here than anywhere else.

I do agree, I guess what I was trying to convey is that we all have to be prepared for our perception of someone and the reality. My perspective was just from the first coffee meeting that's all.

True love does absolutely everything, you just have to manage expectations and as you said, the things little won't matter

Because the profile of people on here seem to be in general rather cold, in that they seldom show thier face or say much about themselves. Which implies that it's just pure lust and sex. Which I don't deny is nice. But I think a little bit of friendship and love goes a long way.

Years ago a colleague at work met a lady on one of these sites and they went back for sex, and just as he was about to make small talks she told him 'don't say anything, just fk me'. He was so shocked.
