‘Tis the season after all. Rain and sunshine, your garden is blooming and you want it to look good in case some friends stop by to indulge in some meat or veg brilliantly sizzled on the barbie.

Here is a tip: mind the cable when you’re using an electric hedge trimmer, it doesn’t work so well if you cut through it.

My ex husband cut through the cable with the hedge trimmer twice whilst we were still married and didn't electrocute himself. Very inconsiderate of him really.

I recommend not standing on the upturned prongs of a rake. This seriously impedes walking...
