It's so dull and dreary. It doesn't lend itself to singing it passionately unlike the Italian anthem

I think God Save the Queen is a dirge. Save it for state occasions and have Jerusalem as the English anthem.

Watching the anthems during the Euros, La Marseillaise and Deutechlandlied are much more uplifting.
