I do as good to see it in words makes me feel better even if to scared or think its silly or mad to post in open forum .

Yeah i have done that in the past ,taken the time to write a long post or labored over a post ,checking my facts etc etc and by the time i come to post it the thread has moved on or even disappeared or i think you know what ,i cant be bothered and i bin it ...lol,

I do a similar thing. I always wrote in a journal from a young age. My thoughts, feelings etc. always found it a good way to process, I now do it online.

Sometimes I'll start writing a post in answer to a thread, read it, and then think "I am not getting involved in that argument", delete it and walk away.

I used to dive in to Threads or even started one or two as I thought it was all about a bit of banter, a good argument or just a bit of daft nonsense for a giggle.

But now I do read Threads far more than adding to them and have binned a few responses rather than post. Its safer.

Sometimes I will write like 5 different posts replying to seperate threads then I jumble them up and put them in the wrong threads on purpose.

No one has spotted it yet.

To be honest I tend to write a large chunk of mine in that way intentionally, safe in the knowledge that some people will take them the wrong way and then just sit back and enjoy the fall-out

Yes, I have written many posts which never actually make it on here in the past. However, not so much these days as I would rather step away from the keyboard than post something which may be perceived as inflammatory - because I would find the inevitable backlash tedious and desperate.

Swinging and the scene in general is now far less important to me - I have been put off by the (de)- evolving attitudes of people coming into swinging these days.

Just my 2 cents.

Sometimes i've wrote stuff when discussing a certain topic then had to either re-word or not bother after thinking 'this is only going to incite them into wanting an arguement because they'll mis-read and take it the wrong way'.
