Do you think a reliability score needs to be introduced?

There should be a check box to say your meeting someone and date of meeting (this is not shown publicly) then 24 hours later after meet there should be four options (all private again)

- met the person

- didn’t meet but rearranged (add new date)

- didn’t meet (there was communication)

- let down (no communication)

Then a score (out of 4) would be displayed publicly on reliability of the person in question…

What do you think?

I don’t like to be reviewed or rated in any form. People would abuse it.

There would be an option not to show it so if it’s negative then people wouldn’t show it.

Open to way too much abuse by people with ulterior motives for making life hard for someone.

There’d be endless - “I did message”, “no you didn’t” stuff for the mods too.

I don’t think it would make any difference to the peeps that choose to show up or not show up..... they’d have the option to show this and wouldn’t..... I don’t show verifications as I don’t like them that’s my choice..... and when given the choose who would publish this? Xxxx

Fab already provides a mechanism for no shows, you can use the 'report them' link from their profile where one of the options for reporting "didnt show up"

Not 100% what the outcome of reporting is though, whether they get a short term ban or anything. Anyone know?

Plenty of people find other ways to out the fake profiles by using a mix of common sense, due diligence and gut feeling.

If something seems to good to be true it quite possibly is.

It would be abused and people be victimised.

Make your own minds up - you’re adults.

Really? That’s interesting to know, could it be improved and people warned that repeated reporting of their profile will involve a ban.

There is the verification system for proving that a person is genuine and to provide feedback.

I do tend to agree that there should be an effective way of policing other users on fab, to protect people and to flag up potential threats but what that looks like without being abused, is something that I’m unsure about.

Lately someone updated their status absolutely slating me simply because I declined their offer. Imagine how a rate score would be abused. Some people on here are not very nice. It's not trip advisor!

That’s crap they did that…they should be banned for life for doing that.

A rating system will be gamed. They always are. Leave it as it is, though I'd consider making reviews private across the board. I don't need to know what Keith's todger got up to with Margaret.

That’s the thing…most on here are a genuine bunch, there would be a few that would use and abuse it, it’s working out how to make it abuse proof

Could it be an extension of the review system currently in place?

No.. because in reality nobody has to meet anybody, even if they have had said they would do so.

It is not nice when people ghost and don't turn up ect. But that's the way of the game A system like that would be open to abuse.

The verification process is open to abuse, so is the photo verification. People always find work arounds but a system that’s fair for both parties and gave future partners a genuine insight, would be invaluable

I can see it now

Turned me down one star

Was in her area had 10 minutes to spare seen she was online she wasn’t up for spreading her legs

One star

Wouldn’t meet a blank profile one star

Call her a slut and showed her my cock on my open message she blocked me one star

Can you see how this is going

Nothing can be designed to stop it or in less it was a two way authentication system

Whare both parties need to register with fab that they agree to meet at such and such a time and date before leting you in to the rateing system

And if someone not going to turn up they not going to authenticate it to let the other party in so it will be widel open to abuse like that if it’s a one way system

And they fab would have to inploy a full time staff off adim to go though everyone and delete such things it would be a full time job

There are algorithms that can take the heat out of that…you could have staff look at disputes to the ratings.

How much time do you think the staff have got? They're all volunteers who do moderation in their spare time, Fab would have to start employing an army to go through all the disputes that would get raised.

There's no perfect system, no magic bullet. Like it or not everyone just has to use their own common sense when it comes to messaging, geting a feel for people, then meeting and getting another feel from them

YouTube spent over 100 million on a new ad algorithm that’s ment to stop ad blocker it got cracked in 5 minutes flat YouTube basically set fire to 100 million dollars what chance has fab got

So you implant a world algorithm

So here we go it’s looking for key world

Wouldn’t F m.E O.fF MY blank pr.profile O.ne s t a r

"Way too open to abuse.

This, it would have to be something that both parties would have to agree on before a meet to work. Otherwise it would simply be open to abuse. And those who have no intention on meeting wouldn't agree to it in the first place.
