Help me Obi Fab Kenobi, you're my only hope....

My memory is sketchy at the best of times, but the basic plot I think I remember (!) is :

Japanese salaryman having trouble getting a woman. Something happens.. or rather not, for a while. A few women wearing short pink dresses (aliens with fishbowl helmets?) visit (Tokyo?) and paint a large circle zone around the city (or town). Then dancing and or shooting and or weird alien stuff happens. Hey... I did say my memory is sketchy!!

It's definitely not a serious alien film (in case that was in any doubt)

I saw it about 4 years ago, and it was 'fairly' recent then. As in, post 2000 I think, rather than older.

I have watched House, Survive style 5+, tetsuo, Robo geisha, Symbol, Big man Japan, Happiness of the Katakuris, R99, R100 ........ etc, so it is along those lines of oddness.

Fishbowl helmets, that's definitely a thing, and because it's Tim Burton, the rest of that random shiz seems entirely possible.

It's not that one... Before we Vanish is a more serious Japanese Alien film. (Also pretty good). The one I'm after is more ridiculous
