Can you be polite to someone or pay a compliment without them thinking you want to have sex with them?

Is it egotistical to feel ‘concerned’ that if you're nice to someone they’ll get the wrong impression.

This applies purely to fab and swinging…. ‘Its a sex site after all’.

Depends on who it is. If it's a forumite they probably wouldn't touch me with someone else's so they wouldn't see a compliment as a beg for a sympathy shag.

A random Fab member would probably be rendered helplessly horny for my tits and assume I want to sit on their face toot sweet.

Of course you can but I'm always weary to do so. Men on here generally don't need much encouragement to think that "they're in", so I only give unsolicited compliments very rarely and with disclaimer caveats. Shame really.

That's not me being big headed assuming they'd be interested in me but rather being aware that most men don't get many messages so may well read more into it.

Of course in real life, it's much easier with the beneedit of body language, tone of voice and facial expressions etc.

Yes.

Been polite and paying compliments is just being nice. You can even do it to people you don't actually like.

It doesn't mean anything, apart from what it is, a polite gesture or complement.

If someone jumps to conclusions as to why you are acting like that, then that is really on them.

Though having said that, I'm really bad at knowing when I'm being hit on and often need it spelled out to me, so what would I know

Yes I think you can, I don't assume someone wants to sleep with me because they give me a compliment and I'd hope others wouldn't either.

Sometimes I'm just being polite but I make it as obvious as possible if it's more than just a compliment and I really fancy them.

Some jump the gun way too quickly just because they get a fab or someone said they like their photos.

I like landscape photography but I don't want to stick my dick in a tree

I’ve paid compliments in the past without ulterior motive and had the same in return.

It does amuse me though when someone messages out of the blue to pay a compliment but then feels it necessary to turn themselves inside out to ensure that I don’t think that it’s a come on

A compliment like anything else that’s said especially online with no tone behind it can come across as a green light to your vagina - I’d say it depends on the delivery and the person you are complimenting

The other day I was accused of being a time waster by someone I'd been chatting with for 20 minutes because when they asked if I wanted to meet up, I said no.

Definitely on fab you can. You can also state "You look great, I'd love to have sex with you" without people being offended too. So its all good.

I think I've complimented both men and women on here without the intention of trying to suggest I want to fuck them.

I've also complimented women on here that I really want to fuck!

It’s nice when I’m out and about in Steph mode. As I’ve had women coming up and saying they weren’t sure if I was a TV or not, then complimenting me on my legs, dress, makeup etc..I never assume they’re are doing anything more than just that, being pleasant.

So I take them in general as a nice thing rather than a come on, in public or venues.

We try to be nice to everyone, especially on here. Doesnt mean we want to sleep with everyone. The problem is, it is a sex site and people do often think polite conversation means you're interested.

Had a prime example of this yesterday. Had a fwb couple message us (something we dont entertain outside of a club situation) but rather than shoot them down I thought we could at least entertain a conversation. Within a couple of polite messages it turned into "both of you get on kik now so we can do this" from their side.

Ultimetly, it's a given that initial contact on here is someone or someones looking to get some, us included, but we are ot averse to just opening friendly dialogue with people on here.

We get plenty of messages complimenting our pictures, our profile or something we’ve posted on the forum.

Very rarely do we assume that person has messaged us because they want to jump into bed with us.

Yes, say they have a lovely hat, if they’re not wearing a hat say it anyway, they will smile and say thank you and by the time they realise they aren’t wearing one they will be at home in the shower thinking wait a minute I wasn’t even wearing a hat.
