Yes, I spelt that correctly!

You’ve been entered into an open inanimate object throwing competition, however, instead of wellies, hammers, shot puts or cabers, you get to choose the item that you’re throwing.

The catch is that you’re getting marked on the weight of the object, how far you throw it and its proportion to you.

For example, if you’re 5’, weigh the same as a wet towel, choose a car, then move it an inch you’ll score high. If you’re 6’4”, built like Annie and do the same, you’ll get fewer points.

So think carefully folks, choose your tossing implement wisely...

Not at all!

It’s a simple balance of ratios, distance vs weight

Is shape and Aerodynamics a factor? I'll be wanging an aerobie, not particularly big or heavy but distance will make up for it!

Nope, shape is irrelevant.

It all depends on if you’re certain that the lightness of the object will give you sufficient distance in correlation to your body.

If a smaller person throws a similar object a similar distance, you lose

In a ball gown because that's how we roll in N. Devon

I'll wang a scaffold pole. One of the short ones.

Oh and by the way, I'm a total catfish. Pics aren't of me and my profile is a lie.

I'm actually 3'9 and weigh 3 stone.

Hmmm… I’m not sure if I can accept this new and frankly shocking revelation.

I will require proof of your *ahem* ‘diminutive status’, and that you’re not just having me on in order to win this highly prestigious competition

Then I better give it the beans then!

Also, I shall take said aerobie to the top of a mountain and launch it from there, if said smaller person tries the same thing; they're smaller, I'll just push 'em over the edge

All my real pics are rather risqué though Tea..... I don't want to offend your eyes!

And I can't believe you think I might be being mendacious. I'm hurt.

Hmmm…

Can you actually push the lorry unaided though? Or is it the inertia of the lorry vs the planes momentum doing the job?

I’d have to add the planes mass to yours, which would substantially reduce the results

not only that, chuck it at an 'opportune' gusty moment and the wind picks it up, you're a contender ...but you do lose a gazeebo!
