What do you dread about buying new clothes?

What is the number 1 thing you hate about buying new clothes?

For me it's the fact that after entering and browsing for 10 seconds someone comes up to me and asks if I need any help.

I know it's their job but nothing makes me want to leave a store quick than someone pestering me after I've just walked in

Seems like they have sales permit ha ha

Next day oooo sale see if that dress is on sale ooo it is 30% off sale ends in two day ok I get it

Felling good about the dress sale gose off then next week boom nother sale and wouldn’t you know it the dress I just got at 30% off is now 70%

I mainly order online unless it's jeans and footwear, but I do dread it when you order a T-shirt you like and when it turns up the fit is crap.

Also when it's obviously been hung on some weird shaped hanger in a warehouse for too long and it's permanently out of shape around the shoulders

Finding something that looks lovely ,

is on sale at an incredible price,

but the biggest size they have is 2 sizes smaller than I am,

so I end up leaving the store and head to Costa for a hot chocolate and slice of cake , which is exactly what's happened this morning

Buying from a place you’ve always a bought from, in a size you know, and finding out it doesn’t fit in the same way as the thing you bought from the same place, in the same size/fit, just a few weeks ago!

Ok ok so my tummy and grown!

I am buying WAY too much clothing from online at the moment. I need to control myself

I stopped wearing jeans at 16 because of that... Not worn a pair since... Even though the thighs athletic days are a distant memory

I have a small waist and huge hips, bum and thighs and can never find jeans that fit properly. I only wear high waisted stuff, so it makes buying bottoms a huge pain, even skirts as most of them alwayS leave a big gap around the waist.

If I'm shopping in person, I hate when the staff follow me around and tell me to stop stealing socks.

There’s a shop in nottingham stocks Levi’s, Lee, Wrangler and Diesel in most sizes and classic styles, 70-100 a pair , no bargains but they last for life, pm if interested.

Everything about buying clothes sucks. Lack of space for wheelchairs. Things on shelves out of reach. Disabled changing used to store stuff. No accessible changing. Waiting for lifts and ignorant people in/around lifts. Card machines on high counters so I can't read them/enter my PIN. No attachable trolley for wheelchairs so you try not to drop things off your knee every 10s. Lack of access into some shops (Manchester Northern Quarter, I'm talking about you ). Ignorant people who can't see a fat lass in a bright red wheelchair and fall over you/sit on you/walk in front of you in the queue.

Oh, and they don't have my size, after all that

Buying shirts.

You have an 18.5 inch neck you must therefore have a 50 inch waist to go with it. Even slim is too big around the waist

Finding good fitting shirts is a nightmare.

I hate shopping! The shops, the cost, the trying on and countless non fits, the differing sizes in each shop! Online shopping is just as bad.

My friends and I have clothes swaps. We each bring our quality (no old bobbly shite allowed) cast offs to a house and drink wine and swap clothes. Perfect solution.
