I think I've found a car, but only on the fourth attempt. I'm going to collect it tomorrow but had to get it from a place over 20 miles away. I've persuaded the breakdown people to pay for a taxi because I couldn't get into the recovery truck (massive steps into cab, nowhere for wheelchair) and none of the railway stations within 2-3 miles can be accessed by wheelchair either. I'm not pushing 6 miles to a larger station, only to find the lift out of order and no-one to put the ramp down on the platform

Gooood eveeeeening Jim,

Well today I had a lovely lunch and catch up with a friend, however in the midst of conversation, she told me that she has split up with her fella and he didn’t take it too well. I haven’t been to Reading festival for years. Last time I went there, I took some legal highs and were convinced my shoes were talking to me…. And then whilst watching the prodigy I was sick over this poor girl in front of me and then was carried over the railings and spent the beastie boys set listening to them from the first aid tent… so if anyone reading this knows the girl I was sick on, I’m sorry "

Oh dear! We took our son to Leeds festival in about 2015 to see Metallica headlining. No legal (or unlegal) highs, no alcohol, just pure music

Nooo. Time is an excellent prison drama on the BBC. It was filmed at The Dana. I was listening to 5Live years ago, the subject was nightclubs. Someone called in saying they felt sorry for prisoners at The Dana having to listen to the revelry at The Buttermarket.

Ohhhhh I see…. I haven’t watched it but I may add it to my collection… I do remember shouting back at the prisoners with the extraordinarily witty line of “at least I’m free” my naivity was quite poignant at that age

We used to occasionally "babysit" his mates at gigs because their parents wouldn't go with them..... Never understood that. If he'd been into the Spice Girls or Michael Bublé, I'd have gone to a gig with him, even if it wasn't my thing. I've changed guitar strings in some strange places, as roadie for him too, didn't have a clue how to do that until I needed to learn
