Most of them give you an option that says “ looking for something casual “

What is your understanding of casual in terms of relationships ....

Not clothing

Jeans and a T-shirt replies will be unappreciated to all the comedians

To me it means no labels dating, fun , a little play if the connections right

I think some see it completely differently ,

No it’s not all about NSA sex for me but the commitment they require is not what I see as casual

I may just be getting it all wrong just wanted other opinions

What the ladies want I would say is definetly not casual. You may go on dates, have sex, you could even go through problems with each other but you're not looking at commitment and can break off anytime. Casual, for me, would be an FWB.

Yes this exactly! Dont work like that though I find! Which makes me reluctant to meet sometimes! I dont want one offs ! Or even more than one! But I've got my own happy life with limited time x

Casual dating is different to fwb for me. As in I want to go on actual dates as well. And what makes it casual is that I know it isn’t leading anywhere realtionshippy. Only works if everyone is really honest about expectations at the outset.

I’ve had some great short term flings.

Casual on a dating site to me is less than FWB - one night stands or booty calls, not monogamous, just scratching an itch.

It's all open to interpretation though, so I always made sure to be explicit about my expectations in my profile when I used those sites, then brought it up again in the first messages exchanged. Pointless wasting time if we're not on the same page.
