"We have just finished watching the original Danish version of The Killing (series 1), which is available on iPlayer. We really enjoyed it. We found it tense and exciting with some real surprises thrown in. However, now that we've reached the end, we don't actually understand what happened. I'm going to try to avoid big spoilers here, but don't look if you really don't want to know. The murder victim was taken to a flat run by politicians, and to a house, both of which had a lot of blood in them. After that, she was taken to the woods where she ran around for a bit a bit before the murderer put her back in the car they went there in, and killed her. During the course of events, a guy who knew something about the flat was killed, and then the guy who killed him was killed, neither of which seemed to have any connection with the main murderer. I thought the end of the series would bring a clear understanding of what actually happened, but we're stumped. Has anybody here seen it and get it?
