Are you an open book or a mystery?

When opening a discussion e.g. messaging or chatting, do you prefer to be frank and candid about yourself or to leave plenty to the imagination, yet to be discovered?

I'll confess to the former. People being mysterious always looks like they've got something to hide, or maybe I'm just cynical

In a ball gown because that's how we roll in N. Devon

Open book.

But I seem to have lost some of them. Maybe they're with my marbles?

Depends on the person, I'm open as in I'll always be honest with people if they ask me something. But at the same time, you can't give everything of yourself to everyone, trust needs to be earnt for me

I'll be open about the things I want to be. I don't hide things I just don't tell people stuff I don't want to I've kicked around life and the internet long enough to know that there are people looking to find the smallest weakness

When we get to a point of taking the chat away from here we are very open with people. We find it’s the best way to be, so they become more open, so we all get to know each other better.

We have become good friends with people this way so when we do meet, it’s just the next step of the friendship formed

I am open and honest to a point. I have a fab life and a private life, I tend to keep the two of them separate. I respect anyone who does the same and I don't enquire, ask questions about anyone's personal life. If they want to divulge anything outside of their fab life then that is up to them.

Happy fabbing everyone. ??

I have double lives real life and fab life

My friends and regular playmates cross into my real life happily

The rest don't need to know anything about my real life details, me and my personality is enough

A bit of both. I don't give out a lot of personal information because I found out the hard way early on some people will try and use it against you on here even if it's to try and force you to meet them.

But if someone gains my trust then I'm an open book to them but it takes a good while to do that especially on here.

Fairly open. As I've been told my profile is pretty 'realistic' anyway so if you've read that and contact me you should have a fairly good idea of what to expect.

I might generate a bit of mystery on the forums with some of my postings but I'm fairly frank and open when talking about MH issues on here.

I’m pretty open - but wouldn’t put a banner in the front window saying ‘Hey - I’m a swinger’.

However - I’m very open and honest If I fancy someone and want to get jiggy with them - and try to be tactful if I don’t.

I’m a bit of a wimp with people I don’t like though - I’d generally rather just avoid them rather than confront them.

I hide everything. I hate when people ask questions. Easiest way to avoid it is to either ignore, distract or make something up.

I'm pretty open about most things, there will always be some stuff or details of things that just don't come to the fore straight from the off but I will talk about pretty much anything about myself.

I think it's important for a housemate to know I've moved my bowls. Usually from the drainer to the cabinet.

I don't hide stuff, but I don't advertise either, and I'm reserved on first meeting. A lady friend/colleague once disclosed to me in a moment of d*unken indiscretion...'you're so boring'. When she knew me better she changed to ...'wtf happened to you?'....I only share if I care.

On a mooch

I’m guarded who I speak to and what I choose to share on here and in the real world.

As I say to friends, ask a question and you’ll get an honest answer, but I will only answer what you ask.

Very few really know me
