I have put off going on Facebook then my mate at work said he had been in contact with some old friends so I thought ok what a great surprise when I have been in touch with some ex Naval friends from about 35 years ago have you been in contact with someone from years ago

Not recently, no.

I have previously been in touch with old school and college friends, turns out nothing's changed and the reasons we lost touch remained the same

10 years ago I found my biological father through Facebook. We know have a fantastic relationship.
