My good news this week: being offered a permanent contract

I'm thankful for the chance and the recognition.

Tell me something you're thankful for this week?

Congratulations!!

I know this may be a safe answer but I am genuinely thankful and grateful for my loved ones. I am very lucky that the best people on the planet choose to spend time with me and time thinking of me. Don't tell anyone I'm a soft twat though

I’ll just check my Gratitude Journal, there’s always so much to be thankful for it’s hard to pick just 1

hiding from cock pics.

Fabulous thread.

I'm grateful that I just deep cleaned my conservatory, it really needed it and it's taken me all day so far but I've got that lovely feeling of a job well done. I'm grateful for that.

I'm kind of feeling I could do with a gin and tonic in the garden as a reward

Seeing a mallard and her chicks in my garden a few days ago and... they have settled!

I feel really lucky they have - they are just the cutest balls of fluff and the mum is so protective. Beautiful and I am grateful they landed in my garden.

When I turn up at the farm on my motorbike the chickens run over to see me.

Awwww that is so cute! Mine seem to run away when I appear to feed them. I guess they are only very young.

Congrats, nice bit of stability for you in these uncertain times

This week I’m thankful for so much , my friends, even the flaky ones, the awesome relationship I have with my daughters, an easy going boss, my health, the sunshine, there’s more but those come to mind

Well done on the contract OP!

I’ve heard of the death of another peer this week, I’m therefore glad of everything!

This is sad but it's good to see you're handling it well. Loss is part of life and should remind us to enjoy every second we're given.

You're a wise soul. Wishing you all the best.

Both my daughters have come to visit at the same time.

First time I’ve seen them since one drove me to my reassignment surgery and the other picked me up a week later.

They both stayed a couple of days then but I was in no for state to be sociable.

Lovely to see them at last. Give them hugs and laugh ‘til my tummy hurt.
