A heads up that for this weekend Tuberose, Midnight, NotSoPosh and myself will be running a Pride based photo challenge!

Show us your rainbow colours, how you promote the self-affirmation, dignity, equality, and increased visibility of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) people as a social group.

Look for the thread in the forum tomorrow morning..... and as always, regulars, irregulars, newbies and workers all welcome to join!

How about nail polish, bobbles, hair colour /chalks, bright thongs, stockings, glitter eye shadow.. Or reflect a prism /cd onto a bit of your body

Even if I don't get a chance to participate I think this is a superb pic challenge and one which will be a beautiful colourful display to observe.

On a serious note, my eldest has told me that his friend is now using female pronouns and has changed her name. He's really proud of her.

And I'm unbelievably proud of my son.

When his friend next comes round, I will explain that this house is judgement-free and a safe space.

I just take everyone on their own merits though. If we get on cool, if not cool. Not really bothered about prejudice n shit. Seems to me I'd be missing out onn meeting a lot of cool people if not

I don't think all people meet for colourful reasons! Sometimes colours are out of equation and it's about what someone has to offer as a human.

I don't think all people meet for colourful reasons! Sometimes colours are out of equation and it's about what someone has to offer as a human.

It was more of a joke about me being a goth and allergic to the rainbow
