Stratford

I haven’t watched it in a while and my thinking might have shifted, so I’m going to go and watch it again today and then come back to this

It’s a viral video he did discussing the psychology of millennials, particularly in the work place. I’m part way through ‘Find Your Why’ at the moment

Is their psychology different to other age groups? Internet era?

Apparently so. I saw a headline the other day suggesting the majority won’t work for a company which doesn’t have a clear and strong CSR policy, for example.

Yes and no.

The thought is that changes in parenting styles, discipline (or lack of in educational settings) an increased dependence (and obsession) on technology, an inability to form meaningful relationships and the rise of now now now and instant gratification have meant that this group are incredibly hard to manage or engage in the work place because they don’t really know what they want, lack focus and can’t deal with adversity

I agree with a lot of what he says in fairness and his delivery is excellent (hence why I am currently listening to an audiobook of his)

Wow. Sounds pretty spot on. Is there a version of this on boomers?

Manchester (she/her)

I haven't watched this one, but Simon Sinek is an incredibly useful resource. Very inspiring.
