Having binge watched Line of Duty I am bemused by what seems to be the mispronunciation of the letter H. However I googled it and the article I read spoke of regional variations. So I am curious.

Depends where I am. If I go visit family in London it tends to be a common but if I’m at home in Basingstoke I tend to say it properly more often than not

He's a bit weird if I'm honest.

It should be made in a large square tin, cut into rectangular pieces, and served with gravy before the main course. In poor families there was never enough meat to properly feed everyone, the much cheaper Yorkshire pudding was needed to fill the children's stomachs so they would be less hungry when given only a small amount of dinner.

Oh, and the H in "ferret" is silent.
