How do you pronounce the letter H?

Norwich

Having binge watched Line of Duty I am bemused by what seems to be the mispronunciation of the letter H. However I googled it and the article I read spoke of regional variations. So I am curious.

Although where I live most people don't pronounce the 'h' if it's at the beginning of a word.

Depends where I am. If I go visit family in London it tends to be a common but if I’m at home in Basingstoke I tend to say it properly more often than not

It's pronounced "scone" to rhyme with "moan", and you put jam on first then Rhoddas clotted cream. Opionally it can be topped with a fresh strawberry.

I used to pronounce it aitch. But then a kindly elderly gentleman took me off the streets and invited me to live with him. He taught me to speak proper.

He's a bit weird if I'm honest.

Likes to put loads of marbles in my mouth in front of his male roommate, runs me scolding hot baths and makes me fetch his slippers at all hours of the night. Kinky fucker.

All I wanted was a room somewhere,

Far away from the cold night air.

How do you say it in lower case, and how do you pronounce most of the words starting with it?

I’m no expert, but dropping the breathy H sound at the start seems like a weird thing to do.

It should be made in a large square tin, cut into rectangular pieces, and served with gravy before the main course. In poor families there was never enough meat to properly feed everyone, the much cheaper Yorkshire pudding was needed to fill the children's stomachs so they would be less hungry when given only a small amount of dinner.

Oh, and the H in "ferret" is silent.
