Pension pot screw up

I've just been through my current online pension account provider and spoke to the call centre and found out that my employer since 2017 has 'forgotten to contribute ' to my pension pot, this has gone unnoticed by them-in-charge since then.

If sent off emails, so things should get looked at in the morning.

This is one of those companies, who keep changing their directors and a different company name will appear on the payslips: yet the office name has remained the same.

I have no idea what's going on.

Anybody got any idea what's going on?

Sounds like you need to speak to a lawyer or citizens advice. Gather all your evidence of this up ready

Thanks, The Pension firm said the fault was my employers and The Pensions Advisory Service is the go to agency for this one.

You’ll need to speak with the pensions regulator so they can conduct an investigation. You’ll also need to go to the pensions ombudsman.

It’s ridiculous that companies pull this shit

Tell me about it. I've been with them for 4 years and they will only pay £90 a week for going sick (and they'll only pay it because it's illegal not to).

Rally looking forward to getting a week off to get my cataract ripped out this September.

Health or wealth? This feels like the American dream is over here too!

Iv'e had my employer chase it up, but I've only got the figures for 2020 and 2021.

I have fired up the email to chase the figures from 2017-2020.

And exhale.

Update, after many ping pong emails... "Pension pots dormant and live: soon to be combined. Pity my employers couldn't figure that one out by themselves.

Other employees will be advised accordingly!

Watch this space.

not really all that wise to alert a possible higher ranking creditor in advance of locating your pension fund no
