Somewhere In The Ether…

So….I woke up this morning and was rendered aghast to behold in the mirror that I had developed a freaky, extra long eyebrow follicle which was pointing directly upwards! I’m talking a good bloody inch long here which resulted in me looking like an evil wizard or possibly the late Denis Healey!

Folks: Please share all your wondrous eyebrow related stories here

Yep. They just seem to appear overnight. Ive noticed a couple of stray mutant eyebrow hairs over the past couple of years. I'm not a fan.

London

The very first grey eyebrow hair suddenly appeared and I don't have soft, delicate downy hair, I have the twangy sort.

Nothing like a grey long hair on a face to shout out my age, I don't even have grey hair yet.

I have grey in my beard but it’s actually rather cool as it’s only at the sides of my chin. If I grow a goatee it looks just like the late Roger Delgado’s, The Master from the Pertwee era of Dr Who. Cool!!

I've had a few wiry eyebrow hairs for some years now. And a particularly long hair has now grown out of one ear (luckily my ear hair is fair so not noticeable).

They come back in the same place too! I'm sure something happens when you hit 40 that makes these things start appearing.

I still have no idea why nature designed us to grow extra nasal and indeed ear hair as we get older. I mean, surely it’s a design fault?

I used to have excellent eyebrows, according to a professional beauty therapist. Now I regularly have to attack them with tweezers for exactly the type of thing you are talking about, OP.
